Ella Naamah. plant. August 03rd , 2017.
This past weekend, I started to believe as faithfully as my grandmother, that it was her attention & affection that was helping these plants grow so well. A feeling of "my grandmother might be right after all" started to creep into my constantly analytical mind. I could not reconcile this notion with anything tangible, yet I somehow enjoyed the simplicity of it.
The tree is now placed in the hole, centralised and ready for the rest of the soil. The soil already mixed with compost can now have a good sprinkling of a phosphate based fertiliser, 2.3.2 being a good mix, mix it into the remaining soil and fill the hole, ensuring again good compaction. Loose soil will have an over abundance of air space and will drain to quickly, so ensure a fair compaction, enough to keep moisture at the level of the plants root system. Create a dam around the tree's base, so that any precipitation, or watering, will concentrate in an area conducive for good dampening of the soils close to the root system. Scatter a further handful of 2.3.2. around the tree's base, so that watering will dissolve the fertiliser and filtered down to the roots.
Before purchasing your planter or trellis, you should decide which wall you will be hanging it on. It is best to choose a smooth wall since the planter or trellis will add texture and depth to the wall and to the viewers eyes. Selecting your planter with your chosen accent colors, while distributing them carefully, will tie your decorating scheme together.
The closer to the west the plant lies, the more critical the question of dose becomes. The difference between one cup of coffee and two is not so great, but the difference between one cup of digitalis and two is. The difference between 10 and 20 drops of most herbal tinctures is inconsequential, but the difference between 10 and 20 milligrams of a drug may be the difference between life and death. The question of dose is one that is hotly contested among herbalists, and, of course, the answers to the first three questions change the potency of the preparation and thus the answer to the fourth question.
