One of the best ways to create balanced, positive feng shui in your outdoor living space is to use plants to create positive energy. But do you choose just any plants? Are there certain plants and flowers that create better feng shui than others?
Potting soil is a must - stay away from garden soil as it is too dense. We chose to do layers of potting soil and peat moss to provide better drainage and looser soil. The looser the soil, the more space for the roots to spread and more space for potatoes to grow.
Thorns are present in native blackberry plants and the thorns prevent grazing wildlife, animals and birds from eating the vines before the berry bushes flower and later when blackberries are produced. When the blackberries grow and ripen, they are not only consumed by wildlife animals and birds, but they have been enjoyed by humans for centuries.
